Front Desk Staff

$18/hr (sample rate)

Part-time or full-time · Evenings & weekends · Start right away

You are the first smile our guests see. You will greet and seat guests, answer the phone, take takeout and pickup orders, handle reservations, and keep the front counter running smoothly during busy dosa hours.

What you will do

  • Greet guests, seat them and hand out menus
  • Answer phone calls and take pickup orders
  • Manage reservations and the wait list
  • Pack takeout orders and hand them to customers and drivers
  • Handle card and cash payments at the counter

What we are looking for

  • Friendly, calm and polite — even at the Friday rush
  • Good English; Hindi, Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam is a bonus
  • Comfortable with a POS / counter till (we will train you)
  • Available evenings and weekends
  • Restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset, not a must
